and who am I?

When I was a little boy my mom raised me lowering my tone at the table, giving my seat to the elder, dressing up without showing off and I guess that’s why I’m a natural PR in Latin America. One golden rule when you are well mannered is to never discuss or talk about money at a social gathering, I guess that’s why I’m very bad as a businessman but all I can say is that there’s no social butterfly like me in town. All these do’s and dont’s from the socialite bible truly brings back when I decided to produce and style a story for my website, yes! the It Girl website, based on that movie inspired by the Guadalupe Loaeza book. the me from the 80s XOXO💋

To be honest it was my mom, the one who threw away the Guadalupe Loaeza book when I was a teenager living in Mexico’s east coast. It just took a “she was settling down in marriage with one of Mexico’s most eligible” line in the book to prove my mom she was doing the right thing. For her, an UNAM graduate, there was no way her son would only aspire to be a socialite with the perfect wife husband. Already styled and produced, this story in 2026 celebrates Paulina Díaz Ordaz, Alejandra Chedraui Peralta and Sophia Guindi as modern women. True, they all come from just like the Guadalupe Loaeza book says “cuna de oro” but as modern It Girls, Pau, Ale & Soph are financially independent with professional careers that eclipsed their prominent last names.

An OG PR, Paulina Díaz Ordaz, grand daughter of the legendary Mexican President, has worked for the most important luxury brands and helped celebrities built their careers since the second she graduated from “la Ibero”. Also an Ibero graduate, Alejandra Chedraui Peralta has searched a professional career in politics, building a better country for the upcoming generations. And last but not least, It Girl Sophia Guindi truly comes as a fashion icon with her own resort brand.

Yes! I was 18 years old when I first launched the It Girl website in Latin America and yes! everything I’ve ever aspired at that moment was to be the next Mrs. Astor from Las Lomas de Chapultepec but as proof of destiny, my three swans from this story Paulina, Alejandra and Sophia have inspired me to go after my dreams and keep writing stories. I mean you never know which magazine will be more than happy to welcome you on board
XOXO💋
