212 – Kathleen Ryan

I often hear “New York or Nowhere” and while there are some New Yorkers that can’t wait to retire outside en la provence, there are others like Kathleen Ryan that truly captive the essence of a city that inspires me every day. We met Uptown, we kept the talk Downtown and making a new friend through an old one, truly felt that like Old Manhattan in the beginning of 2024. Sipping mimosas and enjoying a delicious quiche I had the honor of hearing the story of Kathleen Ryan’s renowned Waterlily Collection.

It all happened on top of the GM Building while having brunch and enjoying the most splendid view of Central Park. Kathleen Ryan and I met through Jennifer Creel whose impecable taste speaks for itself. Before the last tray of macarons was served, Jennifer suggested me of exploring Manhattan’s one of kind “green house”.

I trusted Jennifer and WOW! I surprised myself by entering into Kathleen Ryan’s studio a.k.a. a green house.

Her work of art is an oasis of peace in the heart of the city.

Con una paleta en azules y verdes, la colección de Waterlilies de la artista Kathleen Ryan es un respiro de tranquilidad, el cual brinda verdadera elegancia a cualquier espacio pues si hay calma entonces hay verdadero lujo.

Yes I loved meeting the artist but that day I also loved making a new friend. Talking to Kathleen, we both agreed that there’s no better “profit” than those relationships that take recommend you to a better place.

Entrar a un verdadero invernadero de acuarelas justo en la esquina de Wall Street, sin duda es porque seguimos insistiendo que es Nueva York ó ningún otro lado XOXO💋
