I decided to write this short post in English as our Tuesday event hit global news by having Condé Nast local support. It all started with an Hermès scarf, just like those stories written on Vanity Fair, that silk piece belonged to the woman that Mexico City claims as her own Brooke Astor. An icon yes, but also an inspiration to all of those who we were lucky to called her our friend. Yes, she was featured on Vogue and every other important tabloid but it was her heart, the one that made her unforgettable. By act of faith I guess, I received her silk scarf named as Zebra Pegasus on an orange box. Treasuring something from my friend Silvia Rojo completely inspired to go on and throw a memorable event honoring her.
